not a grayscale preset — rendered the way film would.
yellow, orange, red, green: one tap picks the filter, and its effect follows a real film's spectral response. yellow lets the sky sink softly; red pulls it deep. the tones ride the paper's s-curve into a deep black; how deep is up to you. the grain, too, shifts with brightness the way film does, and settles into the picture.

the paper's tone — an s-curve along the characteristic curve. shadows roll gently into deep black, highlights held just short of paper-white.
grain strength follows luminance — dense in the mid-tones, quiet in the highlights. it rises with the light.
